Firstly let me welcome you to Stage Presence.
So what is Stage Presence, the simple answer is a social networking site for those who are entertainers, work within the entertainment industry or who just love entertainment. As you may notice it reflects some aspects of other social networking sites, this is intentional, we are not after copying them, but we know that because many people already use them they are comfortable and familiar with how they work. We wanted Stage Presence to be easy to use as soon as a person had signed up, not a huge learning curve, that would drive people away rather than attract them.
Stage Presence is free to use, and the users control the content. You can upload pictures, set your own avatar, add music and video to posts and create groups. Group owners can specify moderators for any groups they establish, and even ban people from them. Control is very much in the hands of the user at Stage Presence.
Stage Presence will allow users to sign in with either their Facebook details or Twitter details, when posting you can also have your post appear on your Facebook Home and Profile pages just by ticking a box, you can even set up your profile so that the box is always ticked if you want. Stage Presence being interconnectedwith Twitter and Facebook, we hope, will make using Stage Presence very enjoyable for the user i.e. You.
Stage Presence is a huge first in that it is the first social networking site purely for entertainment. We are very proud of this fact. It has taken some hard work, sleepless nights, much drinking of coffee, swearing and pulling out of hair to bring everything together. We hope that you will support our endeavours.
Stage Presence has administrators who look after the day to day running of the site and we are also appointing Global Moderators. Global Moderators have a lot of power, they can move topics, delete them and many other things. We select only those who we feel will be fair, impartial and not abuse the power we give them to be Global Moderators, if you are asked if you would like to become one, please consider it a huge compliment from us. That said Global moderators do not get paid, so perhaps it is only right of us to say a HUGE thank you to those who accept.
Stage Presence is part of the CEE Worldwide Entertainment Agency Website and replaces the old style Bulletin Board that had been created. Social interaction for entertainment has taken on a new face in 2010; we hope you enjoy the experience.
